Sato returns to Formula 1

Takuma Sato completed his first laps in a Formula 1 car this morning at Jerez since he completed the Spanish Grand Prix back in April. Japan's most successful driver in Formula One completed his laps in the morning for Toro Rosso without any problems.

According to Scuderia Toro Rosso the team is testing candidates for a seat in 2009 and Takuma Sato should be among the drivers that could be signed by the Italian team as a replacement for Sebastian Vettel.

On Wednesday Sebastian Vettel completed a full day of testing with Toro Rosso.
