De la Rosa fastest on final day

McLaren test driver Pedro de la Rosa set the pace on the final day of testing this week at Jerez in southern Spain as warm and sunny conditions enabled the eight teams at the circuit to enjoy a full day of running.

De la Rosa, the only driver to finish in the 1m18s bracket, was testing McLaren's KERS system over 90 laps. He finished ahead of Nick Heidfeld in the BMW and Lucas di Grassi covering his third day at the wheel of the Renault.

Sebastian Vettel returned to his Toro Rosso for the final day of the test, finishing fourth fastest ahead of Sebastian Buemi in the sister Red Bull car. 

Timo Glock finished sixth in the Toyota ahead of Wurz and Rosberg.
