Rosberg delighted with best career finish

"I had a difficult start on the dirty side and didn't get away well," Rosberg said. "I got behind Jarno and he was very slow, very heavy on fuel. My only chance was at turn one when I wasn't close and turn seven where it was so bumpy. It took some time until I could get the move done and it was pretty hairy even there. Then I did some good laps and was able to break away from that group."
Rosberg's race was almost done after he had to pit for fuel under the safety car and got hit with a ten-second stop-go penalty. "When I saw the safety car come out on the lap I had to pit, I was like it's not possible that we'd have the same problem every single time," Rosberg said. "I was really annoyed and thought that was it until I realised I was able to pull enough o f a gap out to be in a good position after the stop and go penalty. The car was good here and we had a good chance and everything went our way for once, which is fantastic."
