
This year's Canadian Grand Prix was the race in Montreal as the FIA announced the 2009 Formula One calendar on Tuesday afternoon. The Canadian Grand Prix was absent for the first time since it first hosted the race back in 1978.
The 2009 F1 season counts a total of 18 races and sees the season begin in Melbourne, Australia at the end of March and the season will come to an end November 15 in Abu Dhabi.
