Barrichello's advise to Senna: Do not join Honda!

Current Honda Formula 1 driver Rubens Barrichello has said it wouldn't be a smart move for Bruno Senna to join Honda in Formula One next season. The Brazilian advised his country fellow that a few year in F1 with a team like Honda could ruin his career.

The Honda F1 team has yet to announce its drivers for next season and it is rumoured that the team is negotiating with double world champion Fernando Alonso and GP2 driver Bruno Senna. In case the team would hire either one of them it will most likely not extend Barrichello's contract at Honda.

Barrichello believes joining Honda in your first year in F1 would not be the best step for Bruno Senna at the moment. "I really love the Senna family but if I may give them a word of advice I would tell them not to join Honda," Barrichello said. "Not because of my own situation but because his lack of experience, he may waste an opportunity. You shouldn't enter F-1 just because you want to and burn everything in a year knowing that you have the capacity to be world champion. It's a big mistake."
