Bourdais penalty hands Massa extra point

Bourdais penalty hands Massa extra point

Sebastian Bourdais has been given a 25-second penalty added to his race time which drops him from sixth to tenth and gives Felipe Massa an extra point, now he is officially classified seventh.

Stewards ruled that Bourdais had caused Massa to spin late in the race when the Toro Rosso was rejoining the race track from his pit stop while Massa was on a string of flying laps. The Ferrari tried to pass Bourdais around the outside of the first corner, but ended up spinning.

Bourdais drops to tenth, Vettel moves up to sixth, Massa to seventh and Webber to eighth. The move means Massa is now just five points behind Hamilton in the drivers' championship.
