Hamilton will blow it - Briatore
17 October 2008Renault F1 boss Flavio Briatore believes Lewis Hamilton has not learned anything since this time last year in terms of winning a championship and will throw away his five point lead and lose the title to Felipe Massa.

"In my opinion Hamilton will again try to throw away the title," Briatore told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "He and McLaren were good last year already and to have lost it with a 17-point advantage with just two races to go is worthy of a Guinness World Record."
In 2007 Hamilton threw away a 17-point lead over Kimi Raikkonen in the final two rounds to let the Finn take the title.
"If he's done that once he can easily repeat it with just a five point advantage," Briatore added. "He's a good driver but he hasn't learned anything, we saw that in Japan. He's a youngster who still has to show his worth."
