Bourdais hopes for second chance

Sebastien Bourdais hopes that he'll be given a second chance by Scuderia Toro Rosso to stay on next season, after putting in a string of more competitive performances in the second half of the season.

"It's been a bit annoying as on several occasions this season I've had a small incident that has pretty much screwed-up my weekend and cost me the chance of scoring points," Bourdais told L'Equipe. "The bosses at Toro Rosso don't seem to be in any hurry to decide my future. The concern is that I have other offers outside of F1 that I need to respond to."

"I hope that I will get a second chance to build on what we have achieved this season," he added.
