David Coulthard is bound to get a warm welcome from the Brazilian fans when he takes part in his final grand prix next weekend in Sao Paulo, but it's unlikely to match the reception he got from a crowd of around 100,000 in Buenos Aires on Saturday.

The Red Bull Racing driver was taking part in a show run at the wheel of his Formula 1 car on a course laid out on the Avenida 9 de Julio, reputedly the widest city street in the world. So there was plenty of room for slides, spins, burnouts and doughnuts around the famous Obelisk in the middle of the road, which seemed to go down well with the Argentine crowd, in a city which last staged a Grand Prix back in 1998.
"It's great to be back here in Argentina, as I used to love coming here for the grand prix," said Coulthard, who raced at the Argentinian Grand Prix from 1995 to 1998, starting the race from pole position on both those occasions.
Coulthard completed four runs round the course, hitting speeds of almost 250 km/h thanks to the unusually long, wide and fast layout of the temporary track, pulling out every trick in the book.
