Canadian Grand Prix future to be decided on Friday?
30 October 2008According to local media reports a decision on whether or not to spend Canadian government money to retain the Grand Prix in Montreal is expected to be announced this Friday.

Earlier this month officials from three levels of government recently met with Bernie Ecclestone to discuss ways to get the Canadian Grand Prix back on next year's calendar. Montreal Mayor Gerald Tremblay called the meeting encouraging and constructive but stopped short of putting a dollar figure on what it will take to bring the race back.
