Former F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya has warned Lewis Hamilton to steer well clear of Felipe Massa in this weekend's championship decider at Interlagos. Montoya believes that Massa will win the race, but that Hamilton needs to accept that and focus on getting just enough points to secure the title, not risk an accident trying to stay ahead of the Brazilian.
"I think Felipe will probably win the race," Montoya told Autosport. "If I was Lewis, I wouldn't be anywhere near Felipe on the track. If he came anywhere near me, I'd just let him go by."
"Lewis needs to play it smart," he added. "When you're that young and in F1 you just want to win every race. That's great, but when you're points racing all of a sudden, you've got to learn that a different result can be the best one for you."
