Lewis Hamilton's father Anthony believes his son is getting stronger and stronger as the years roll by in Formula 1. According to Anthony Hamilton his son is still learning a lot from the experience his is gaining in Formula One.
"The way I look at is that things are sent to try you, and you have to overcome those if you want to be a champion," Anthony Hamilton was quoted by Sky. "There's absolutely no point blaming anybody, whilst the FIA are the FIA, and mistakes happen with drivers in certain circumstances and situations.
"That's all part of the learning curve, and if you look back at the mistakes over the last couple of years, they are all new. I don't think he has made the same mistake twice, and that's the plan. You learn and move forward.
"Certainly you look at things like those that have happened with the FIA, you put them in your bag, take them away and think 'right, next year we will make sure we don't do this and that.' And he knows when he has made a mistake. I don't have to tell him because he feels it, so you don't have to say anything.
"Nor is he the kind of person that beats himself up over a mistake, he doesn't beat himself up over anything. Obviously Japan was a disappointment, the most disappointing, but then I think it was a Godsend. We got to the end of the season last year and he made a mistake, well this time he made it earlier. He learned from that, and the last two races have been a sign like 'Lewis, I'm warning you now. Take heed, go to China, regroup and you will be okay.' He then went to China and won, and it was the same in Brazil."
