Ecclestone: No racism in Formula 1

06 November 2008

Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has said there are absolutely no racism problems in Formula 1. In this year's pre-season testing in Spain there was some sort of racism at Circuit de Catalunya but the booing in Brazil had nothing to do with anything like that.

Ecclestone told BBC Radio 5 Live: "It's all nonsense. In Spain people supported Fernando Alonso and in Brazil they supported Felipe Massa. I don't think it has anything to do with racism."
