Hamilton praise for 'sporting' Alonso

Lewis Hamilton has spoken out in praise of his former team mate and arch-rival Fernando Alonso after the two-time champion visited the McLaren garage in Interlagos to personally congratulate him and the team.

"It was great to see him in the garage," Hamilton told Reuters. "He came over as I saw the team and I turned round to see him there, just to wish me congratulations."

"He also congratulated the rest of the team," Hamilton added. "I had a huge amount of respect for him already, but it took a big man to come and do that so I am very thankful to him."
