World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb had a first taste of the Red Bull F1 car this week at a rain-soaked Silverstone as he prepares for his first major test with the team next week at Barcelona.
Loeb has won the last five Rally championships and while he has tested once before for Renault, he hasn't ever been in action on a track at the same time as other F1 drivers.
"The Silverstone shakedown was a great experience for me, but without traction control in cool temperatures and the rain, it was difficult so I had to react very quickly to the car sliding around," Loeb said.
Loeb was given the F1 test as a reward from his Citroen team's sponsor Red Bull, for his latest championship win.
