Vettel fastest on day 2

Sebastian Vettel completed the fastest lap with Red Bull Racing at the second day of testing at Circuit de Catalunya. The German was just ahead of Toro Rosso drivers Buemi, Sato and Bourdais. At Force India Pedro de la Rosa made a surprise visit and completed 86 laps with the Silverstone based team.

On Monday the sun was still shining but on Tuesday temperatures slightly dropped and it was very clouded. As the second day of testing got under way Sebastian Vettel's Red Bull car caught fire as he entered the pitlane after completing an installation lap. The German quickly left his car with his brakes fully on fire.

At Force India we saw McLaren's Pedro de la Rosa in the car. The Spaniard will be testing at Force India on Tuesday and Wednesday but clearly had to get used to the Ferrari powered car. De la Rosa ended at the bottom of the time sheets.

Apart from Vettel's burning brakes it was a reasonably quiet day at Circuit de Catalunya. Sebastien Buemi lost his car and ended up in the gravel but there wasn't any major damage to his car.
