Rossi doing well at Mugello in F2008

The 2008 MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi enjoyed a day of testing with the Ferrari Formula 1 team on Thursday at Mugello. The Italian received the test as a gift for winning the 2008 MotoGP championship this season. Rossi showed a stunning performance in the F2008.

The day started with two installation runs in Ferrari's F2008, the car that was also used at the Brazilian Grand Prix. Rossi then completed a run of 26 laps and was soon able to search for the limits of the car. Rossi's fastest lap was just a few seconds slower than Massa and Raikkonen go round at Mugello. Rossi's fastest time was set at 1.23.9.

On Friday Rossi can enjoy another day of testing with the F2008 at Mugello.
