Vettel: "Webber will be missed"

24 November 2008

Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel will have a lot of work to do now his team mate Mark Webber is injured and unable to attend the first scheduled test sessions for Red Bull Racing. The Australian broke his leg this weekend in his 'Pure Tasmania Challenge' and will be unable to get in a Formula 1 car the next few weeks.

"What happened to Mark was a shame and I hope he gets well soon," Vettel told F1.com. "I didn't have the chance to talk to him yet. We will proceed as usual with testing and for sure he will be missed but it is more important that he is back next year to get the new car running. We have to be even more focused down in Jerez at our next test and can't afford to make any mistakes, as time is valuable."

The Formula 1 teams will get back on track December 8 at Jerez.
