Former F1 drivers line half the grid in Speedcar Series

The opening race to Speedcar Series Season 2 begins on Friday at the Dubai Autodrome. 14 drivers will take to the grid representing seven professional teams at the 2-day race weekend.

The list of drivers participating in the Speedcar Series this year include many former Formula One drivers such as Johnny Herbert (reigning champion of Speedcar Series Season 1), Jean Alesi, Jacques Villeneuve, Stefan Johansson, Gianni Morbidelli, Heinz Harald Frentzen and Vitantonio Liuzzi who will be making his Speedcar Series debut this season.
