BMW boss predicts 2009 surprises

Despite being the first team to run a full 2009 aero configuration on its cars, BMW team boss Mario Theissen is refusing to make any predictions about who will be most competitive next season, insisting that the new rules will throw up some surprises.

"Due to the new regulations there's going to be reshuffle," Theissen said. "Therefore, we could witness numerous surprises next year. I just can hope that we will be able to continue on our path without being affected by this development."
