Loeb would love to race in F1

10 December 2008

Five time rally champion Sebastien Loeb would love to become a Formula 1 driver as of 2010 the Frenchman has said. Loeb enjoyed a ful day of testing at Red Bull Racing last month.

"I signed a contract with Citroën to compete in the rally championship next season but if I would be offered a seat in Formula 1 in 2010 I would grab such an opportunity with both hands," Loeb told French newspaper Libération. The 34-year-old rally champ doesn't think his age is working against him in a career move. "Formula 1 team bosses might think I'm too old but I don't feel old yet. My age isn't something that would stop me from racing and if there is a chance one day to prove that I'm not too old yet I will take it."
