Jenson Button has suggested that he is not interested in moving anywhere or to any other team despite Honda pulling the plug on its F1 operation. The British driver plans to stay with his team until its future is finalised.
"In a way who knows the answer and what the right thing to do is?" Button responded to questions of whether he'd look elsewhere for a drive in 2009. "But I'm happy staying where I am at the moment."
"My thinking is that if this team does survive in 2009 it will be very strong," he added. "I'm sure there would be other options to race in F1, but very limited ones as it's so late in the day - that's a difficult decision to make."
"At the moment I'm completely focused on workin with the team to try to find someone to buy it - that has to be my best option for 2009," he went on. "I'd rather not take a year off because I think that's bad."
