Buemi still waiting for Toro Rosso announcement
17 December 2008Sebastien Buemi is likely to be announced this month as Scuderia Toro Rosso driver for the upcoming season. The Swiss driver has been supported in his racing career by the energy drink and has completed many miles for Red Bull Racing as the team's test driver. Buemi hopes the team will make an announcement before Christmas.

Scuderia Toro Rosso is currently the only team in Formula 1 who is undecided about its drivers line-up for the 2009 Formula 1 season. When asked when Buemi will find out about his contract for next season he told the official Formula 1 site: "The team still has time to choose. For sure I hope the decision will be made soon. It would be good to know before Christmas, but I am not in a hurry. I feel very confident based on my test results, so I'll await the team's decision."
