FIA president Max Mosley has said that he will take a final decision on whether he will definitely stand down from office in June as he voiced concerns over the difficulty of finding a capable successor.
Following the scandal surrounding his personal life earlier this year, Mosley claimed that he plans to stand down as FIA president when his current term ends in October.
"I will take a final decision in June," he told the official F1 website when asked if he still had no plans to stand for re-election. "The FIA president needs a lot of patience and an ability to understand quickly a great variety of technical and legal issues. I'd advise a potential successor to think very carefully before standing for election."
