BMW Sauber F1 driver Robert Kubica has had a great Formula 1 season. The Polish driver scored his maiden win at the Canadian Grand Prix and finished fourth in the championship standings as 'best of the rest'. The upcoming season brings a lot of changes and while Kubica obviously hopes to make the final step with BMW he finds it impossible to predict the team's chances.

Speaking about the team's chances for next season Kubica told our colleagues at Autosport.com: "It's too early to judge whether we will make the final step (and become a contender for the championship) or not. The ideal would be to fight for the championship to the end and achieve better results than this year, but it's difficult to predict.
"Next year is a big challenge with so many changes to the regulations. You have to be lucky to get the right direction straight away."
