Massa covers first laps in new Ferrari

At 10:35am this morning, the sound of the 056, the Ferrari F60's engine, broke the silence in the Mugello circuit's pit lane. Felipe Massa was at the wheel to cover a single installation lap. 

The roll-out of the new car was moved to Mugello after poor weather conditions were forecast for Fiorano. This morning conditions at Mugello were sunny, but cold.

After some quick checks on the car Massa returned to the track at 10.55am to cover the F60's second ever lap.

The team is hopeful of making more progress this afternoon as conditions warm up.
