Former Force India F1 team boss Colin Kolles will enter the famous 24 hours of Le Mans this year. His team, Team Kolles, will also join the Le Mans series in the upcoming season. The team has partnered with Audi and will race the Audi R10 TDI in the Le Mans series.
Team Kolles will be the only team in the Le Mans Series racing with Audi as the German car manufacturer itself decided to quit racing in the series. Team founder Colin Kolles commented on his new project: "I've always been very interested in endurance races. Especially the long distance performance and constancy of the cars, strategy, and the team work of two drivers on one car over such long distances fascinates me. It makes me and my team very proud to represent Audi in this premium series."
