Hamilton completes first miles in MP4-24

Reigning Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton has completed his first laps in McLaren's MP4-24 at the Algarve circuit in the South of Portugal. On Wednesday morning Hamilton began his day of testing at 09.00 hours.

Hamilton's first laps in McLaren F1's 2009 contender were in wet conditions. It is expected to get dry in the afternoon which would offer the Briton better conditions to work on the car.
