Is the mystery Honda bidder Virgin?
18 February 2009Speculation has been rife since it emerged over the weekend that a new, secret bidder had entered talks with Honda with a view to buying the team, just when it looked set that a management buy-out by Ross Brawn and Nick Fry had been all but signed off.

This morning Reuters has claimed 'a source' within Honda has confirmed that the mysety bidder is Richard Branson's Virgin Group quoting them as saying, "They have made a bid to purchase the team."
Honda meanwhile has declined to comment on the speculation.
