Speculation over Brawn team name

With rumours of the former Honda team's management buyout getting stronger, speculation now surrounds the new name of the team. It is likely that the squad will be named after either its new owner or the location of the outfit's factory.

The buyout possibilty of Honda F1 by team principal Ross Brawn was strengthed by news on Friday, meaning the names 'Brawn Racing' or 'Brawn Sport' could be likely. It is also feasible that Brackley, the location of the Northamptonshire factory, could feature in a team name.

The former Honda team will undergo cosmetic surgery within the next three weeks as a completely new identy for it is estalished, including main colours and sponsors as well as the name. It is likely the car will be powered by a Mercedes engine.
