Force India's Adrian Sutil is full of optimism towards the new season and believes a combination of changes to both the sport and his team's management are just two of the ingredients for a potentially strong year. Following a difficult season in 2008, the German will be be making best use of the new Mercedes powerplant at his disposal this year.
Speaking to the official F1 website, the German explained: "I've been to the factory quite a lot during the winter. I was more involved with the building of the car than ever. It's the first chassis they have built to properly fit me as I am a tall driver. I have a lot of space now!"
Adrian also expressed his feelings towards the management modifications made at the team since the end of 2008, stating that "There were quite a few problems at the end of last season and the team decided to sort out those problems, and made the right decision to make a new start without Colin Kolles and Mike Gascoyne (Team Principal and Chief Technical Officer respectively). The atmosphere is very good." Full control of the Force India operation has now been taken over by Vijay Mallya.
In 2009, Adrian will be partnered again by Italian Giancarlo Fisichella.
