Kimi Räikkönen insists that it is still too early to tell which teams have the advantage over their rivals, as the final official pre-season test continues in Barcelona. The Finn completed 80 laps on Monday to finish second on the timesheets, just under sixth tenths of a second down on Nick Heidfeld's time.
"It was a good day, although we couldn't drive a lot, at least not as much as we had planned," the 2007 World Champion explained. "The car seems to react well really well to our setups and to the modifications carried out; it's comforting to know that, because it means we're heading in the right direction.
I know I'm repeating myself here, but I have to say it again: it's still too early to understand where we are compared to the others. We have to wait until Melbourne to have a clear idea." The waiting time continues to decrease, with the start of the season now just over two weeks away.
