Sutil disappointed with qualifying result
28 March 2009 / Results / PhotosForce India driver Adrian Sutil was a disappointed man after the first knock-out session in today's qualifying. The German, despite finishing ninth of both of Friday's free practice sessions, was eliminated after just the first twenty minutes.
"This wasn't what I expected from qualifying today," the German told his national broadcaster RTL. "The car felt really good all weekend and I believe I failed in qualifying today - the biggest problem is a lack of downforce I think."
When asked if the Mercedes-Benz engine could also be part of the problem Sutil said: "No, the engine is doing great, really." Having qualified in 19th place, he will be in fact be starting the Australian Grand Prix from 16th following the penalties of Hamiton and both Toyotas.
