Sebastian Vettel is to visit race control in Malaysia, to discuss his race-ending incident with Robert Kubica in last Sunday's Australian Grand Prix. The two drivers were battling for second place in the closing laps of the race when Kubica, attempting the outside line at Turn 3, was collected by the Red Bull driver on the exit of the corner.

"Steward advisor Alan Donnelly has asked to have a chat with Sebastian to go through the rationale behind their penalty," Red Bull team principal Christian Horner explained to Autosport. "I thought the penalty was harsh; we thought it was very much a racing incident - Sebastian was defending his line and the eventual decision depended on what was specifically discussed during the stewards' hearing. I think Alan wanted to speak to Sebastian about that, to discuss the long and short of it."
Governing body the FIA has handed the German with a 10-place grid penalty for this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix, as well as fining the team $50,000 for instructing their driver to complete the final three laps of the race minus his front wheel.
Lewis Hamilton and Jarno Trulli have also spoken to the stewards at Sepang, regarding the situation which saw the Italian lose both a podium position and all points scored due to a 25-second penalty imposed after Australia. "Let's follow the Toyota case and see what happens there," Horner added. "The stewards were pretty busy all weekend in Oz, but hopefully they will have a quieter time this weekend."
