German Timo Glock is not yet happy with the setup of his car heading into third and final practice at Sepang. Despite setting twenty-nine laps in Friday's second session, the Toyota driver struggled for balance amid the stifling temperatures of Malaysia, to finish the day an eventual fourteenth, two places behind team-mate Trulli.
"It was quite a tricky day for me," Timo admitted. "In the first session the car didn't feel quite right and I had some trouble with the stability, then at the beginning of second practice I was getting some oversteer and the car felt light."
Glock is keen to improve the setup of his TF109 this weekend, particularly as he finished an impressive fifth having started in the pit lane in Australia, which became fourth on Thursday following the disqualification of Lewis Hamilton. "We worked on some different setups and, by the end of yesterday, it was feeling better," he continued. "We still have plenty of work to do before qualifying, but we had a similar situation in Melbourne and still made a lot of progress, so I am still optimistic."
