Ferrari has announced key changes to its staffing structure as the pointless World Champions look to get their 2009 championship back on track; having endured a difficult and uncharacteristic start to the year, modifications to the system see engineer Chris Dyer take on the duties of team manager Luca Baldisserri at races.

"A crucial element of this group is Luca Baldisserri," a Ferrari statement read. "The Scuderia team manager will follow the single-seater's development step-by-step (from the Maranello factory), while his role at the track will be covered by Chris Dyer." The change was, in many ways, expected after a string of tactical errors has cost the team dearly with both drivers having run phases of the first two races on the wrong compound of tyre.
Despite driver Felipe Massa having clearly stated that the roles of team members did not need to be modified, comments from team principal Stefano Domenicali were only stressed by the ever increasing pressure applied from president Luca di Montezemolo, as the team has suffered it's worst start to a season for 17 years.
