Michael Schumacher has warned Ferrari's rivals that they should never write off Ferrari for the championship title. Even though the Italian team had its worst start of the season since 1981 and not scoring any points the seven time Formula 1 champion warns the team is not giving up yet.

The closest Ferrari came to scoring points was at the Malaysian Grand Prix when Felipe Massa finished ninth. The result is far from what may be expected from the reigning constructors champions. Ferrari's advisor and former driver Michael Schumacher has said the team is currently working hard to close the gap and has not written off this season just yet. "We do recognize this situation but we are surely not giving up yet," Schumacher told German news agent DPA.
"Ferrari never gave up in the past and will not give up now. You can't write off Ferrari."
