Codemasters has released more information of its latest project, as the company continues its development of the official Formula One video game having won the licence from Formula One Management (FOM), previously held by Sony.
Leamington Spa-based Codemasters has a respected history in the gaming world, and has released a whole series of racing games in the past including the TOCA Touring Car and Race Driver series as well as Colin McRae rally titles, and most recently DIRT.
The Warwickshire company has announced that F1 2009 will be released for the Nintendo Wii and Sony PSP platforms, with F1 2010 being available to game players in high definition on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. As well as featuring the Singapore night race and Abu Dhabi circuit in games for the first time, users will also be able to make the best use of KERS and adjustable front wing endplates.
