'Brawn not fastest anymore' - Button

Jenson Button has admitted that the Brawn GP cars are no longer the class of the 2009 field, having taken two poles and two wins from the Australian and Malaysian Grands Prix. Although he has finished on the podium in the first three races, Frome's Button admits that Toyota and Red Bull are now ahead, after he qualified fourth in Bahrain.

"We've struggled compared to the whole field, and we don't have the pace we had in the first few races," championship leader Button told the BBC. "It's going to be a tough race tomorrow, it's not a walk in the park; at the moment we don't have the pace of the Red Bulls and the Toyota. Our race pace was good yesterday when we were doing long runs but the problem is, when you are in fourth place, it's difficult."

World Champion Lewis Hamilton slotted his McLaren between the two white cars, with Rubens Barrichello starting on second half of the third row as more rivals appear to find an advantage with every passing weekend. "We'll do the best job with what we have," Button continued. "If it's hot like this tomorrow, our pace will be good."
