Sebastian Vettel is waiting for a replica of his race winner's trophy from the Chinese Grand Prix. Like with a number of teams on the grid, the German's Red Bull Racing contract states that the team is entitled to keep the original version to showcase at their Milton Keynes base.

The artificial trophy will rekindle great memories for Vettel from less than two weeks ago, although he did in fact cut his hand on the original version whilst on the podium after his glorious victory in Shanghai. "At least the team paid for the replica of the cup!" 21-year-old Vettel laughed, who is Formula One's youngest ever race winner having first done so for Toro Rosso at Monza last year.
His win in Shanghai was followed by the runner-up spot in Bahrain last Sunday, although Sebastian experienced the mixed emotion of shocked delight when on the rostrum. "They gave me a trophy which was so small that I believed it must have been a mistake," he told Germany's Auto Motor und Sport. "I wanted it to go further, to Trulli (third place), when I saw that he also got a small trophy!"
