Mark Webber is looking to attack the Spanish Grand Prix with determination after a disappointing weekend in Bahrain left him with no additional points to his tally. The Australian currently lies sixth in the Drivers' championship, three places and eight and a half points behind German team-mate Sebastian Vettel.
Webber, Queanbeyan-born, saw chances of a strong Bahrain Grand Prix result go up in smoke on Saturday when blocked by the Force India of Adrian Sutil in the first phase of the qualifying session; an eventual recovery to 11th in the race was scant reward having finished 2nd in China just seven days earlier.

"I can't wait mate," said Australian Webber of his return to Spain. "I am looking forward to racing back in Europe and getting stuck into this next stage of the championship. The first four races have given us a great foundation to build on, with the team lying second in the Constructors' classification after the 'flyaways'. We're in very good shape to go forward and this weekend; it will be interesting to see where everyone stands in terms of their development curves as all the teams, including ourselves, will show up in Spain with modifications to the packages, especially on the aero side." Mark also warned that larger teams, such as McLaren and Ferrari, will be fighting back with 'all guns blazing' in Catalonia after self-confessed below par starts to the season.
"Although the team has done really well, my own start to the season could have been a bit better and so I'm looking forward to moving up the order," Mark continued. "As long as we don't find a really unexpected set of circumstances at the Catalunya track, which everyone knows very well, then I'm confident I can manage to do just that."
