According to BMW Sauber F1 boss Mario Theissen the future of the team in Formula 1 depends on the outcome of current talks between the FOTA and FIA. The team will not quit the sport at the end of the season though Theissen has said.
"If the framework and the conditions change greatly that would be a reason for us to review the project," Theissen told the BBC in an interview. Theissen joined the other F1 team bosses in a meeting on Friday with FIA president Max Mosley to discuss their opposition to Mosley's proposed £40m budget cap. "It was positive to have Friday's meeting and to discuss the issues, but we have not arrived at a decision," said Theissen.
