Massa happy to complete Ferrari top four

Felipe Massa was satisfied to have crossed the finish line in fourth place and collected five points in the Monaco Grand Prix. The Brazilian, who scored for the first time in Barcelona two weeks ago, was the second Ferrari in the first four places after team-mate Kimi Räikkönen achieved a podium result.

With KERS onboard and starting fifth, Massa achieved a rise of one position in the race after successfully overhauling Sebastian Vettel on track and Nico Rosberg through pit stops, as the latter had passed the Ferrari when Massa lost out in a duel with Vettel early in the afternoon.

"On this track its very difficult to pass," Felipe explained later on. "I was quite ready to pass Kimi on strategy but then Jenson held me up when he came out of the pits so I couldn't pass Kimi, which is a shame; it was a great race for Ferrari - we showed incredible pace but still need to improve to be back on for victories."
