Kimi Räikkönen is positive over Ferrari's prospects to claim a race victory this season. The Italian marque, constructors' World Champions for the last two seasons, failed to score in the first three races of 2009 but has since gone on to claim points as well as a first podium finish of the year for Räikkönen in Monaco.
The Scuderia narrowly missed out on a worst start since 1981 this year as Räikkönen scored sixth position for the team in Bahrain, which was followed by another three points from team-mate Felipe Massa in Spain. With a rostrum result in Monte-Carlo, however, the 2007 Champion is sure that Ferrari will soon be back to its winning ways.

| Third in Monaco was the team's best result of the season so far |
"I wasn't too happy with the third place at the Monaco Grand Prix," 29-year-old Räikkönen admitted. "For sure, it was the best result of recent last times, but that was nothing new to me. When the leaders of the championship are so far ahead, it's only a victory that counts in the end; being back on the podium is a nice reward for the whole team, though, and the hard work of the last weeks finally bears some fruit which is really positive for all of us."
Having dropped to third place off the line from second and the dirtier side of the grid on Sunday, the Finn repeated that he had been annoyed to miss out on pole by just two and a half hundredths of a second to Jenson Button. "We know that we're on the right way now," he continued. "There are still some minor things to be done but, sooner or later, we will win; we'll show up with further improvements on the F60 in the upcoming races and we hope we can then challenge the leaders even more in qualifying and in the race."
