Jenson Button was satisfied to have qualified second on the grid for the Turkish Grand Prix after experiencing a tough and challenging time in practice on Friday. Outpaced by team-mate Rubens Barrichello all weekend until qualifying, Button starts the closest to pole winner Sebastian Vettel.
With the Brawn team having had its hardest Friday of the year so far at Istanbul Park, it was naturally all smiles for Button in the post-session press conference. "I'm looking forward to the race," said the championship leader. "Every pole position man here has won, so we aim to change that! You can overtake here so we will have fun tomorrow."

Having taken victory in all races bar Shanghai thus far this season, Button has the potential this weekend to equal Michael Schumacher's record of winning six of a championship's first seven races, set by the German in 2004. "I enjoy this circuit and that's why I found it tough when we arrived here and couldn't find the right balance," Frome's Jenson continued. "When one person in the team is doing good laps, it's hard because you know the car has it - you just have to find it. Yesterday was a tough day for everyone; it was so windy and we couldn't get a balance with the car but today, with some changes to the setup and wind calmed down, the car seemed much better."
With Vettel ahead and team-mate Rubens Barrichello behind with Mark Webber, Button will be watching in all directions at the start of Sunday's race. "After practice it was quite difficult to see what tyres to run in qualifying," he explained. "On prime (Hard compound) we didn't have much feeling so weren't sure; we did the right thing in staying with it in Q3, and not chopping and changing, so I could get on with my work. We worked all the way through the day - pleased with front row and great place to be for tomorrow."
