The Toyota team is hoping to continue its Istanbul revival at this weekend's British Grand Prix. In what could be the last race at Silverstone for the foreseeable future, the Japanese team is planning for a points finish after finishing 'best of the rest' with Jarno Trulli in Turkey.

| Jarno scored two points in the wet British Grand Prix of last year |
Although the Brawn and Red Bull cars may have been unbeatable at Istanbul Park two weekends ago, Trulli drove a strong race in Turkey to finish fourth after Rubens Barrichello plummeted down the order. Having qualified on the back row of the grid in Monte-Carlo a fortnight earlier, a delighted Trulli now hopes to carry his speed into Northamptonshire. "It was very satisfying to get back on track with our strong result in Turkey," the Italian said. "I believe we belong at the front of the grid this year and it was important to bounce back and show how competitive we really are."
Cologne-based, the squad has experienced a season of variable results so far in 2009 although, with Ferrari twelve and a half points behind in the constructors' championship and improving in pace, Trulli knows that Toyota cannot pause for breath. "The team has pushed hard with development and we must continue to do this to close the gap on the cars in front of us," he explained. "I expect our car should go well at Silverstone as we have been very competitive on circuits with similar characteristics, so I am fired up to fight at the front again."

| Silverstone's crowd will be hoping for another home win this year, such as in 1991 for Nigel Mansell |
Having first raced a Formula One car at Silverstone in 1997 and finishing eighth for the Prost team, Jarno will drive in his thirteenth British Grand Prix on Sunday. "Silverstone is a special place to race because of the passionate fans and the history surrounding the track," he continued. "Personally I am not a huge fan of Silverstone and it hasn't always been kind to me, although I was one of the fastest cars last year in the wet; but it is an important circuit to Formula 1 and it will be a loss - if this is the last Grand Prix at Silverstone for a while, I hope I can leave there with some happy memories."
