As Silverstone owners the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) struggle to afford the sums requested by Ecclestone to host the race, the governing body's president has now commented that chances of the Grand Prix staying in Northamptonshire are high.
"The chance of there not being a British Grand Prix next year is very small and in my personal view, and it is not for me to decide, I think it is highly probable that it will be at Silverstone, but that remains to be seen," Mosley said to the BBC.
