Kimi Räikkönen was unsure as to whether Mark Webber's passing of the Ferrari compromised the Red Bull's final qualifying lap for the British Grand Prix. The Finn, who qualified ninth on the starting grid ahead of Fernando Alonso, was accused by the Australian of slowing him on his final flying lap of the qualifying hour.
As Webber claimed that Räikkönen must have been 'sleeping' or 'drinking Vodka' to not move off the racing line, Kimi explained his version of events: "I tried to move to the side as much as I could, so I don't think he lost any time."
As for his own performance, the 2007 Champion is the lead Ferrari - and KERS car - on the grid, two places ahead of team-mate Felipe Massa, who failed to make the cut for Q3. "I didn't have many high expectations, I didn't know exactly where we were, so overall I think we did as good a job as we could in qualifying," Räikkönen concluded. "We did nothing wrong, we just couldn't really go much faster."
