Schumacher revealed as Top Gear's 'Stig'

Television viewers were in for a surprise on Sunday evening as Top Gear's 'The Stig' was revealed in the shape of former World Champion Michael Schumacher. Seen on the BBC's highly popular automotive show as the ultimate Star in a Reasonably Priced Car, the 'tame racing driver' finally removed his helmet in front of a stunned studio audience.

Although his date of birth may previously have been unknown, The Stig's identity as Michael Schumacher was far from expected at the weekend. The seven-time F1 World Champion may have been revealed, but speculation will continue to circulate over the long-debated question which involves the names of a number of racing drivers, past and present. Some say he's selection of various personalities...all we know is, he's called The Stig.
