Heikki Kovalainen will be one of a number of drivers to take their Formula One cars through the streets of Moscow on 19 July. The Finn, who will be at the wheel of the McLaren, is looking forward to entertaining the Sunday afternoon crowds as the V8 engines roar around such landmarks as the Red Square and St. Basil's Cathedral.

With the Kremlin awaiting to receive F1, McLaren will be joined by Williams and Red Bull as Russia - which has been tipped on several occasions to host a race in coming years - hears the sound of Formula One engines once again.
"I'm really looking forward to the demonstration in Russia," said Kovalainen, who will be piloting last year's championship-winning MP4-23. "Moscow is one of the world's most magnificent cities and this opportunity to showcase Formula One machinery to so many people, and in such an amazing place, is an incredible opportunity. For everybody who attends, this should be an absolutely amazing demonstration of the worldwide appeal of Formula One to a country that is looking forward to hosting its first Grand Prix in the near future."
